IF TREES COULD TALK...
A SHORT FILM BY MONIKA KOZICZ
Student Capstone Film Tulane University
“Someday hopefully it won’t be necessary to allocate a special evening [Women in Film] to celebrate where we are and how far we’ve come...someday women writers, producers, and crew members will be so commonplace, and roles and salaries for actresses will outstrip those for men, and pigs will fly.” --Sigourney Weaver
A young troubled girl moves to a small town with her alcoholic father, where she meets a well put together girl with whom she builds a magical, fantastical and adventurous friendship. The quirky and disarmingly odd fantasy world the two young girls create, provides a temporary escape from their own realities.
